Just a thought.....

I realllllly miss middle of the night nursings with Reid and Leah. I loved that time with them. Sometimes I would sit there in the quiet and stare at them, sometimes fall asleep, pray, or sometimes listen to music.....it was such a special time .... and to mothers out there that think I am crazy because they are in that spot now...it's soooo much easier to feel and think this way when I am sleeping completely through the night now. I just miss my toddlers being babies that constantly needed me :(

Connecticut

I have been having so many days off and it's been sooooo nice!! November is a great month for teachers. Anyway, last weekend, I had off Thursday and Friday, so I decided to go visit Keith, Tracy, and Chase. My mom and I took Reid and Leah and we left Friday night and came back Sunday night. It is always so nice to see them. I wish soooo much that they lived closer, and I am not giving up hope that one day they will! Reid and Leah had a great time playing with their cousin and I loved seeing my nephew. He is such a cutie pie, and he is getting soooo big! One month from today he will be 1! Thanks Keith and Tracy for having us and we can't wait to see you guys at Christmas!!! Love you!
These pictures are in no particular order and there are no captions because my computer was working sooooo slow!

We've got our hands full.....

Leah has such a spunky little spirit.....the other day I was giving the kids a bath (sometimes I give them one together and other times alone). Well this time I had Reid in first, and I was trying to hurry because we were getting ready to leave for Connecticut. I told Jordan to stay in the bathroom with Reid for a minute while I went to his room to get clothes. Jordan turned around for 30 seconds to wash his hands and turned back and saw this....Leah had fallen into the tub with her clothes on. Instead of screaming or acting shocked, she began to play... I couldn't believe my eyes!!!

McDreamy and the Flower....

WOW....what a busy weekend for us! 5 Halloween events and a dedication (Madeline Shipley) all within 3 days! It was all sooo much fun! On Halloween my parents stopped by to see the kids and then Jordan's family came for dinner and some trick-or-treating. Jordan's youngest brother and sister still trick-or-treat so it's funny that Reid and Leah have an aunt and uncle that trick-or-treat like they do. Of course they got much more candy and lasted a lot longer than Reid and Leah.
Reid cracked me up trick-or treating...he must have heard someone say "they're probably not home," because after Reid knocked on the door, if someone didn't answer in, NO JOKE, one second of him knocking he would try to walk away and say "Probably not home". I had to convince him to give the poor people 2 seconds to walk to the door. He had a blast though, and I have so much fun watching my kids really enjoy themselves.
Love this picture because he looks like he is actually concerned and taking care of Leah.

Going through their candy and Uncle Craig's with Grandad (that was always the best part....coming home from trick-or-treating and spreading the candy all over the floor and seeing what I got!)

Church Party

My mom invited me to bring the kids to my aunts church for food, hayrides (which we didn't go on bc the line was too long) and games. The kids had a good time! Reid won't stop telling people that he threw the football through the tire! It was a good throw!

My School Parade/Party

Jordan brought the kids to my school on Friday for our parade and party....I just LOVED having them there with me! They had a good time and Reid wanted to walk with me during the whole parade...it was cute :)

Pumpkin Painting

Well I'm glad Reid painted this little pumpkin this year because we didn't carve pumpkins this year. Jordan and I have carved pumpkins since the first year we dated, but this year, Halloween came before I realized. We were going to do it Friday night, but my mom invited me to a pumpkin/harvest party at my aunt's church, so I decided to skip the carving this year. I think it was a good choice because Reid had a great time at the party.

Random

This hat is funny because it used to be mine when I was little. I have absolutely no clue how it is suppose to be worn.... I just stuck it on her head and I think she looks so funny in it! Oh well..it's worn for sentimental reasons.

Crafts

I love doing little crafts with the kids. And I love that Reid is getting to the age where he enjoys and can do a lot of different crafts.
Making an apple with construction paper and glue.
Making a pumpkin with paint.
Leah coloring.....

Where The WIld Things Are

Reid loves this book, and one of the Wednesday's that he and Leah went to Barnes and Noble for story hour Miss. Jenn read this and gave them hats. My mom takes them every Tuesday or Wednesday and the kids love to hear the books and then do a coloring page. One week Reid gave Miss. Jenn a hug and she told my mom that was the first kid who thanked her and hugged her when the story was over. I'm excited because I have a bunch of days off coming up and I can take them! I love story hour! :)
